| At a short distance from Bassano is the Miramonti Hotel established in 1927 in a small town at the foot of the prealps. Of the original structure, the exterior aspect was preserved while the inside was completely renovated so that our guests are offered a bright atmosphere with a panoramic view of the old village, of the valley and, from the higher floors also a beautiful view of Bassano del Grappa.The rooms are quiet and comfortable and all have bathroom and shower, hairdryer , direct-dial telephone, coloured satellite television, minibar, independent air conditioner and electronic door key. The hotel is accessible to the disabled and has fully equipped rooms and two suites with living-room and kitchenette. Buffet breakfast is served in a sunny room with a view of the surrounding mountains.At our guests? disposal are: ample private car park, comfortable bar, TV hall, electronic lift, panoramic terrace. In the hotel?s restaurant ?Le Priare? it is possible to sample and rediscover the taste of traditional cuisine and the excellent wine of the Veneto. Close to the hotel: beautiful routes through meadows and woods for a walk or for a mountain-bike ride, a large ancient free- climbing rock-face, jogging, rafting on the river Brenta, hang-gliding and delta planing, speleologic caves, tennis,archery and golf.At short driving distance there are many art centres: Bassano, Asolo, Marostica, Possagno, Vicenza, Padova, Treviso, as well as historic Monte Grappa and the medieval walled towns of Cittadella and Castelfranco. |

By TRAIN-From MILAN: Take the Milano-Trieste line, change trains at Padova and continue on the Padova-Trento line. Arrival at Bassano del Grappa after 1 h. -From VENICE:Take the Venezia-Trento line, arrival at Bassano del Grappa after 1 hour. -From TRENT:Take the Trento-Venezia line, arrival at Bassano del Grappa after 2 hours. By CAR-From MILANThe A4 superhighway for Venezia, exit at Vicenza Nord and take the ?Valdastico? highway with exit at Dueville. From Dueville follow the road signs for Bassano del Grappa (40 mins). Don not exit at Bassano but continue in the direction of Trento for a further 10 mins. Exit at Pove (warning: as soon as you see the exit for Pove sign reduce speed because the turn-off is immediately after an overpass and around a sharp bend). Turn right (sign indicates Pove Centro) and after a short distance turn right again. After 20 metres turn left and continue straight ahead following the hotel Miramonti signs for 1 km. at the stop sign turn right and continue for 200 metres to the intersection where immediately to the left is the entrance to the hotel.-From BOLOGNA: The A13 superhighway Bologna-Padova, exit at Padova ovest and take the state road ss47 following the Trento/Bassano directions (40 mins).-From TRENTO:The ss47 ?Valsugana? state road in the direction of Venice, exit at Pove (2 hrs).-From VENICE:follow the directions for Treviso travelling on the ?Castellana? road to Castelfranco Veneto.
